From the 19th century writer, James Allen, author of As a Man Thinketh: "A Man's mind may be likened to a garden, which may be intelligently cultivated or allowed to run wild; but whether cultivated or neglected, it must, and will bring forth. If no useful seeds are put into it, then an abundance of useless weed-seeds will fall therein, and will continue to produce their kind." Your Present, Your Future That there will be changes in our future is certain. Whether those changes will be positive and life enhancing is uncertain. While we cannot truly control our future in any detailed sense, we can greatly influence the future we will experience by what we do in the present. Those who drift from day to day, who have no plans for the future, who focus almost exclusively on the present when they are not dwelling on the past, will one day arrive at a future that they do not want but must endure. Yet, to a fair degree, they will have created this unwanted state by what they did and did not do back in the elusive now. Those who know where they want to go, who have some plans to get there, who respect and learn from the past but focus mainly on the present and the future, who apply their energies intelligently, will one day arrive at the future they have imagined and will enjoy it. To a fair degree, they will have created this desired state by what they did and did not do back in the elusive now. Your Aging, Your Choice How does this apply to a lively longevity/anti-aging program? If today or someday soon you commit to following the advice of such a program and stick with the program, then you will arrive at a future where your true age and appearance age will be decidedly younger than your chronological age. And you will be able to function independently at an age well beyond that at which your parents or grandparents passed on or went to a nursing home. But if you continue to drift and do not follow the Rapid Results program or a similar one, your future will come with all the negative consequences of traditional aging, and it won't be pretty. A too-early death or "life" in a nursing home will be your plight. Whatever your fate, it will be the outgrowth of the seeds you plant in the near term. Your future is now, and the choice is yours. |
